This guy Jason Burns has been putting out a lot of really dope laid-back electronica this past year. Some of it sounds post-dubstep or trap influenced, some of his other work sounds more housey or uk funky style. Pretty much all my favorite tracks by him have some sped-up, chopped up singer vocals at the center of emotional tracks characterized by soft, atmospheric melodies. His mixes are top-notch and an excellent representation of the level of detail in his work. This one and this one here get steady play in my car. Now it looks like dude is working closely with Kastle, an electronic producer with very similar vibez. His last EP was released on Kastle’s Symbols label.
