@BODYHIGH over errthang

First I really enjoyed this video from Samo Sound Boy. Then I fell in love with this track from the mysterious DJ Funeral. Then SXSW 2012 happened and I went to an awesome Body High vs Sound Pellegrino party at Speakeasy. There I saw the first ever performance by DJ Funeral and recorded the first ten minutes of this historic event. It was very baile funk and people danced. At the same party I was introduced to DJ Sliink who completely blew my mind with his set. I had no prior knowledge of New Jersey club music but after his set I was hooked. He played this awesome song he made and this one and also this one and this one. He is 21 years old and has a bright future. Then after SXSW Myrryrs dropped a new EP on the Body High Label and it was awesome so I bought it, and I almost never buy music. I love what this label is doing and the parties they are throwing and the music they are making. Body High over errthang.

SBTRKT will be at sxsw this year

SBTRKT, the masked English dj/producer who just dropped his first studio album will be at SXSW this year and I am stoked. He is responsible for amazing songs like Wildfire ft. Little Dragon and Pharoahs, both of which were featured on my latest mix. Hopefully he will be performing some of this year’s sneaky free shows. I’ll keep y’all posted on those type of events as we get closer to March. I don’t do wristbands. I do free.
