sxsw 2012: best year ev-ar

SXSW 2012 is over and it was amazing. Every year the amount of awesome free dj shows astounds me. Brushing shoulders with my favorite artists in the world like it’s no big deal is a spiritual experience, like my Woodstock but every March. I spent exactly no money for any shows and got to see top notch performances from Flosstradamus (pictured above), Diplo (also pictured above), 12th Planet, Skream and Benga, Dillon Francis, A-Trak, DJ Funeral, Samo Sound Boy, DJ Sliink, Sound Pellegrino, Body High, DJ Orion, Plastician and Nick Catchdubs. I wasn’t in attendance, but I watched a live stream of a Boiler Room East Austin house party where Lunice and Brenmar absolutely destroyed. Here’s to another great year. I can’t wait to see what SXSW 2013 will be like.
